Novara bikes from REI

Hi all,

I was at the local REI store the other day checking out their mountain
bikes. Any comments about their brand - Novara? Is this new? Thanks.

They have been around for decades. REI just contracts with
a generic Taiwan bike company to make bikes with their label.
Nothing wrong with that; Specialized and Trek do the same thing.
Obviously, quality will vary with price.
